Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic condition that causes pain, swelling, and stiffness in the joints. Affecting obesity about 1% of the population, it is one of the most common types of inflammatory arthritis. RA  is a systemic rheumatic disease, which means that it can affect the entire body. Osteoarthritis is most common in the joints of the knees, hips, hands, fingers, neck and spine, although it can affect any joint in the body. Osteoarthritis symptoms include pain, stiffness and swelling in joints, especially when getting up in the morning. If your OA is severe, you may feel pain for the entire day, or lose your ability to use the joint. Even five or ten pounds of weight loss significantly reduces the strain across a weight-bearing joint, and can improve pain and reduce the need for joint replacement in the future.

People with rheumatoid arthritis can improve their quality of life and quantity of life by controlling the disease.
But also there are lots of resources that can help people with rheumatoid arthritis function better. Your local arthritis organization can help show the local resources, but things like occupational therapists, physiotherapists, vocational counselors, social workers to help with work issues. There are people that can help with ergonomic issues at work, canes and crutches for weight-bearing joints that are required. So there are many resources to help people function better.
The most important thing to do to prevent rheumatoid arthritis is don't smoke, and if you do smoke, quit. If you have more questions about rheumatoid arthritis or if you think you have rheumatoid arthritis please ontact your healthcare provider.

It's important to note that gout is a manageable condition with proper treatment and lifestyle modifications, such as medication to control uric acid levels, dietary changes, weight management, and staying hydrated. If you suspect you have gout or are experiencing symptoms, it's best to consult a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.

Lupus can affect multiple body systems, including the skin, joints, kidneys, heart, lungs, brain, and blood cells. Its symptoms can vary widely, and they can resemble those of other conditions, which can make diagnosis challenging. Common symptoms of lupus include joint pain, skin rashes (particularly a characteristic "butterfly" rash across the cheeks and nose), fatigue, fever, hair loss, chest pain, and sensitivity to sunlight.

If you suspect you may have lupus or are experiencing symptoms consistent with the disease, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional who can evaluate your symptoms, perform appropriate tests, and provide a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

One of the worst practitioners In the lower main land if not Canada. Rude and dismissive of patients concerns and refers to pharmaceutical literature pushed by pharmaceutical companies and jumps to writing prescriptions without explaining the side effects properly and the effect of these drugs on the body long term. I have nothing against pharmaceuticals as they help millions if not billions every year but without looking at the root cause of the problem how can a practitioner ethically prescribe drugs. I went to an appointment with a family member and was given rude stand offish answers to any concerns or questions asked about the treatment plan being provided. She did not once address the underlying triggers (diet/lifestyle) and instead insisted on prescribing a cocktail of different pharmaceuticals. After seeking an alternative holistic practitioner my family member is now without any pain and the effects of rheumatoid arthritis are in remission just from diet and lifestyle changes( elimination diet). If referred to the this doctor please for your sake and your loved ones please seek another option/ practitioner. Worst experience dealing with any practitioner in Canada in my 40years of experience. Avoid at all costs

She is an impatient person. Wasted a lot of my time. Didn't have any idea on what diagnosis need to be done to be able to identify the problem. When pressed for answers for a few questions, she said go to another doctor. She had no clue about what needed to be done to be able to diagnose the issue. I'm not sure why she is called a doctor.

This doctor told me I wasting tax payer money. I am a tax payer, and I was seeking help for a conditioner for which my province provided her expertise. She is dismissive, she told me to come back if my hair falls out. She didn’t look at any of my tests until I opened the door to leave. Do not see her if you take your health seriously.

After my second session with Dr. Dhindsa, I'm learning more about my condition and how to reduce pain and inflammation. I appreciate her direct approach and finally feel hopeful that I can realize improvement in mobility and reduction in pain with the treatments Dr. Dhindsa is recommending.

Dr. Dhindsa has always treated me with respect and a caring attitude (over the last 2 years). She was knowledgeable and thorough in her questions concerning my condition. She referred me for a wide variety of testing which was conducted in a timely manner. I always felt comfortable and well looked after in my health journey with her. The experience with Dr. Dhindsa was really bad. She did not listen to my mother the patient. Told her to be quite and only answer her questions. We recommend to anyone that you do not see her as she will not help you in anyway and will just send you home feeling worse about yourself. My dad who was there to assist my mom as her English is not the greatest, she wouldn't even listen to him. The prescription that my mom got was from her family doctor, she questioned why she was taking that prescription and made her feel bad for taking it. She then later wrote the same prescription as the family doctor, but only a higher dose. We recommend not to see her as a doctor. She is not a helpful doctor.
